clean kadett shells fetch an absolute fortune to the right people. my m8s got a c20let in his and he got offered 2k just for the shell before he put the engine in! )(also think the shell fetched about 1900 on ebay!!!!)

Just sold my two, one kadett d with xe but shell was knackered and a mk1 astra shell which was mint which had 46k on it.
If the shell is good then it will be worth about £600 ish. The main places to check are in the front arches, under bonnet and under the arch on the a post and the flitch panel. Also the front panels rust alot around the headlights. Front floor pans and rear corners inside the boot and underneath.
So alot to check but worth a few hundred of you can get it. Not really any more desirable than the mk1 astra btw.

Bad news 
Just been down there and had a chat with the owner and he said the certificate of destruction has been issued so there's no way of saving it
Looked really clean slight patches of rust but thats nothing for a car of this age, such a shame it drives to.. The only reason its there is they had a family death to which they left it in the garage for the last few years so in the end they got fed up of seeing it, And had it picked up by my local scrapyard.
