The AA are shit, told me the reason my car wouldn't start was because the coil was fucked, I asked if he was 100% sure and he said yes.
Changed the distributor and it fired up (after I got the timing right)

I have free RAC wuth my car so will try them of I need them again.

its a 40yr old vauxhall viva i just don't see anything redeeming about that, apart from it has a good shape to make look like a muscle car but you will need seriously power for it to be decent in my book 
i don't see why everyone on here calls it cool and amazing, there really is a messed up view of cars on here.

It's gona be nice going into the post office and splashing out on 12 months tax!
It's just a weekend toy so reliability doesn't have to be number 1 on the list, saying that the engine rubs so sweet and after it's warmed up you can't even hear it ticking over!!
One thing I have learnt is that it doesnt like the heat. The other day when it was really hot was juddering a bit when it was really hot outside!

What rear axle u using? My brother is putting a 2.0 8v into his but don't know about any mounts or anything we need to use but should be good with that in it!

AA guy sounds like a right asshole, I don't get how some of them get to keep their jobs when they clearly know fuck all about cars or proper roadside diagnosis!
