I started the gym mid May. Was 12 st 8 and used to run only once a week for 4 miles. Bit of a skinny frame to me (dad is only 10 st!). Didn't want to get any skinnier as my weight varied from 11.5 stone at xmas, 13.5 st last summer.

I now go to the gym. Run 3 times a week for 4 miles (12 in total). Swim 3-4 miles a week.
Do weights 4 times a week. Weights I do a combination. Chest, pectoral, biceps, lats, legs, etc. Only 35kg -40kg upper body at the mo.

I've atually put weight on. Am now 13st 4 opposed to the 12st 8 I was in May? Not sure if thats due to do the weights I do now?

i weighed 14.5 stone at christmas, i now weigh about 12 st 9ish. i will weigh 14.5 stone at christmas again then lose the weight next summer

does anyone else get this? i don't do anything consciously

But what if you get the feeling you need a late night binge like myself. I've lost 22lbs in 8 weeks since breaking up with the ex and all I've really done is cut down eating crap all the time, off the crisps and chocolate etc. and as I'm newly single, I'm not out eating at pubs/restaurants/takeaways all the time liek I was before. I go for a good walk 2/3 times a week but thats it.

its amazing what just changing your diet can do
