Get the extra pads then and sell them on ebay prob get more than halfords trade pads you bought....
If you had of waited before stripping the brakes off the car or even got a lift you would have been sorted
50/50 at fault....
You should have waited but he should have sent them
accept £15 thanks very much.

i think £15 is fair enough
every one makes mistakes perhaps he just got mixed up or forgot to put them in.

your fault for going out and buying them, not his fault you HAD to fit them that day, be grateful he is offering you £15 to be honest.

i dont think you will get what you want back, but if you want what you paid for the pads from halfords back, you want to be fileing a consequential loss claim, but that will need proof of purchase that you spent 30 pounds, which you dont have
you stand a better chance if they are a registered trading company, if they are write to them direct.
i made a similar claim recently, ordered 2 rear wheel cylinders off euro car parts, had the day off to fit them, they arrived and they didnt fit, there was a catalogue error on there website, so i was forced to go and buy ford ones which were 40 quid more as i needed my car for a meeting the next day.
i filed a consqeuntial loss claim with euro car parts and they refunded me the good plus the difference in price with what it cost me to get ford ones

Should have just got him to send you the pads, then you've got spare pads for when the new ones you've bought need replacing in the future.
Yeah he didn't send them with the calipers so that's his fault, but he has offered to send them to you.
I hear what you're saying re. the urgency, but you can't blame him for that - he doesn't care when you are going to fit his stuff.
I think, personally, that this is kinda trivial you opening a PayPal case against him when he has offered to resolve the problem by giving you the pads or offering a refund based on what he paid for them?
My two cents and all that.

Just looked at the Trade Club prices for Calibra Turbo pads:
2.0 Turbo/2.5 V6 to '95, p/n 9192123: £25.85 retail, £14.72 trade club
2.0 Turbo/2.5 V6 from '96, p/n 9195146: £26.60 retail, £18.04 trade club
