Bart, that is what my dad builds, but he actually built one that is twice the size of your biggest one I know cos i was part of it too when i had a job at that place!
The biggest one had two transformators, and something silly like 20 section. Had to be U shaped aswell. I think that one was for whiterose shopping centre.
Been building loads of stuff for Olympic village for last year or so!
I bet my dad could have your dad though

My dad built Blackpool tower single handedly with only a toffee hammer and some old rusty fence nails.

Do you still put "lamp test" on these kinda starter panels?? All our new suppliers 'aren't aloud' to put them on. Really annoying.

yes, we do fit lamp tests, but its down to customer specification.
Some prefer lamp tests, some dont require it at all while others like push to test button.
But to be fair, with LEDs now taking over most new panel builds, theres less room for malfunctioned lights.
Who do you work for Ocean?

Work for Thames Water in the maintaince department. We have quite a few new panels that still have lamps not LED's, but with no lamp test function. Its really annoying, but i guess its all down to the cost :/

ahhh IIRC, you work in Telemetry/PLC?
We're almost completed installing a pumping station upgrade for Thames at Priory Road Dartford
So its people like yourself I need to blame for the difficult SRSA
