Just a relentless purr of turbines, just a shame you can't have a beer and enjoy the view
That must be from the Nelson or something then is it?

Possibly, we brought a lot of the work forward last trip due to erm unexpected outage (HSE prohibition notice) so hopefully most of our shutdown work pack will be completed. Will be there for start up though.....probably the worst time!! Its only a short shutdown anyway to coincide with unity going down, nothing major taking place on my side of things!!

Aye I was offshore for start up not to long ago, they kept trying to bring gas compression online and the GPA went off about 3 times over 2 days (mostly during the night )
Gas leaks at the turbine inlets, handy!!

Yeah the gas heads in turbine/RB211 enclosures have very low trip points, half of that elsewhere on plant. If a mech seal or labyrinth seal or somethings passing a bit its curtains.......mee maw's will be getting everyone out their beds!!

Heard some weird ones about ghosts in the drillers shacks &mud labs etc, mostly cause no-one is there anymore - nae bugger is drilling. Other than that never really heard of anything...
