Bit of a step up That's tidy though mate, need any fancy pics?

If you get anything painted, I would have the grille black tbh.

Ive owned a both a normal cooper S and a Works. Love the supercharger noise and the torque, especially with a 15% SC pulley

My seats were baggy too and the ride is just so harsh on run flats, i would definately advise you replace them with normal tyres when the time comes(assumeing they are run flats). Also, despite good built quality, both of mine rattled like mad.

The paint isn't horrendous tbh - 99% of people would probably be happy with how it is! It's "shiny" at least. It'll look a lot better when I do it though lol - will make sure I post a thread to show the differences!

I didn't get much off the price - he wouldn't budge! Got a new clutch fitted as part of the deal though.

I'm looking at possibly fitting the JCW aero grille in the future, not sure yet.

The seats always look baggy in the pics, yet in person they aren't that bad?! May try the heat trick on them at some point.

To me the ride isn't horrendous atm, maybe because I'm used to lowered cars? It is on run flats and JCW sports + suspension - its bumpy but not awful. Yet to find many annoying rattles too luckily

Why the ?!

PM will be sent lol.

41 mpg is never achievable in this - 32 is best book figure, realistic seems to be high 20's.

Good choice; i must admit i was really suprised by mine and love/loved it; have been getting 36.6 MPG aswell which isnt to bad.

Shame you bought that one as mine is going up for £7995 with only 26K on and on a 55plate! The Aero kit and grill does finish them off; as like yours mine came with stripes but looks better without so mine went

Cheers all!

Yeh £245 p/a to tax is 1 fairly big downside! I will see what I can do about the mpg, I don't rag cars really so am hoping I can get the average up a little bit - it's currently worse than the XE was lol. It is due a major service though.

I will probably do airbox / induction kit of some sorts and the pulley in the future, right now though no plans at all other than get the paint up to scratch and ditch the stripes

£7995 is a bargain, but then it has been repaired, I'm funny with stuff like that, I specifically wanted a 100% original one which this is (no paintwork etc)

Not than keen on the Aero kit either tbh, grille yes, kit, no.
