why? because someone made a mistake on the logbook? there isnt another one around here for the price this one is going for in this condition anyway

it let the garage get it changed and a reciept stating if theres any ownership issues they accept liablility for it

still comes back as a 1.8 sri has a ? next to number of owners but everything else comes back ok,

Also,how would the previous owners have been able to tax the car??They would have had to insure it as a 1.8 surely.

Waste of oxygen comes to mind, my tax could be going to better uses than buying dodgy astras, not just once, but as many times as you can be stupid enough.

its likely to be a mistake when the details were being entered. Just let the DVLA Know in case you have an accident and the log book shows you have a different engine - it will lokk like you ",modified" it otherwise

so what says its a 2.2?

the ebay advert and you? everything else thats offical says its a 1.8, numberplate, dvla etc

how many years has it gone unnoticed?

can you contact a previous owner?

Not wishing to be alarmist here, and I don't want to be considered a hater but I think those wheels are wrong for that year.

That would also explain why its a bit tidier. Because it may be a newer car on those plates. There's no evidence of repair because it hasn't been.

Does it have a trip computer?

It does have 5 stud though which is what the 2.2 16v are, but I'm sure those wheels belong on the Pro-Drive kitted 2.2 16v's
