I have a 320d and cant fault it. What about a 530d 535d as long as there all MSPORTS there well specced full leather etc. Lovely motors.

For the age I want 5 Series out of my price range.
Gone off the idea of a BMW. The 159 is alot sexier imo.

i had the 2.4 diesel 159 as a courtasy car it felt quite nippy, but with it being an alfa it broke on the first day!!, abs problem. and the interior looked fantastic but the feel and quality of it was just not there,

The 159 is gorgeous! My brother had a 2.4JTD Estate in at his work, same spec as that white one. This one was black, full red leather i think... Looked amazing, and he said it was really quick. Most importantly they have a boost gauge in the centre console!

Alfa or BMW?!
No contest!
That said 159 is a very very pretty car and that's coming from someone who just doesn't "get" Alfas

If they were to have similar engines, then it would really be no contest for me. I'd take the Alfa every day of the week. It has something that the BMW never could.

Interior ergonomics? Tactility? If that's what you look for in a car why did you buy a Clio Jambon? The interior looks FAR nicer in the Alfa. I mean come on, it may be the worlds' most unreliable car but some people (idiots, like me) would still buy it as you'd feel like a million bucks driving it when it worked!

I bought the Clio because it is cheap and fun to drive. The interior looks nice but not that nice!

Poor reliability I can live with, but the depreciation is something that concerns me tbh.
Its the only thing which is puttin me off an Alfa.

What about a brand new Giulietta then instead? Something like a cloverleaf?
Residuals like the Mito are meant to be really good
