this is what ends up making a car special, when people can easily jusitfy not spending the extra money, be it on the car or insurance.
thats how people end up with a normal puma instead of a FRP, or a Golf Vr6 instead of a corrado.
i like it as you only get the serious owners and less everyday plonkers

i could easily justify owning one if i earned more, or it was a 2nd car, or i did less miles. Whats the point in owning something id be scared to use on track as id be worried about wearing out my disks whats the point in that. Id happily have one for a trophy car that doesnt get used much. Like your corrado. Its a trophy car

you even said yourself jim when i invited you to germany you wouldnt go because of the miles and the car. If owning a special car comes with that attitude then its pointless to me

i'm not saying you should of got one steve, your puma is v.nice and tidy.

They sound like a bit of a bodge job, bits added on to wishbones, arches just slapped over the old ones. Not worth anymore than a standard one thanks!

£400 isnt expensive for brakes on a performance car, a few mates of mine pay double that for disks without the bell . (I think ive got that the right way round )

I can resist replying to a thread without mentioning one tho, so I don't see what you're getting at?

do we need to work out a ratio of threads i reply to and then find out which ones mention the car i have loved since before i could drive.
i reckon other members will have a higher ratio of their car over threads replied to.
