Just got back from Ewood via inlaws.

Much better away performance oooop north. Dealt with most of Blackburns hoofing and set pieces etc.

Theo is looking magic. Played so well through middle too. Looks stronger on ball this season and gets stuck in more. Hopefully his glass shoulder is fixed.

Cesc had a mare. Lost the ball far too much and his final balls were poor. Didn't track back either. Hopefully he's not quite match fit rather than pining for Barca. When subbed he trudged off too with head down. Could have at least acknowledged fans.

Chamakh looks a great signing. Strong, good in air, holds ball up well, great link up play, won't score 30+ a season but a great addition all the same.

Verm and Kos at CB are too similar and lightweight. Kos got owned for Blackburn goal. He's still got to get used to prem but I think we'll see Squillaci partner Verm as first choice.

On the TV Cesc looked very good, picked out some excellent balls

Theo does look much stronger too, saw he hold off samba a few times in the box

Defending for their goal was woeful, Clichy let diouf just walk in front of him and i think kos must have been well out of position as he got dragged chasing hadji back... agreed about squillachi i think

Maybe I was a bit harsh on Cesc and missed a few things but he did seem to give the ball away a bit.

Kos got muscled out of the way when he got to the ball first I thought. It was all schoolboy defending though.
