Going by the cars parked at the side of the road it looks like you've pulled out of your drive and just gunned it down your street.
I could be wrong, but thats how it looks...

And if so, stupidity.
To be fair.
I'm not going to harp on about road safety, but seriously, time and a place.

That would explain why the speedo starts at 10mph then.

To be fair, you are fliming yourself doing a run on a public road.
Stupid and dangerous.
If caught I would go for dangerous driving.
Like I said - there is a time and a place for this i.e a track.
The excuse "we have all done it" doesn't cut much mustard with me.
I don't usually respond to this kind of thread, but the blantant dis-regard for road safety really gets my goat as you can tell.

Forgetting the speedo, it still seems to pull well for through the gears. Just as good as my 1.6 sport.
Was it downhill?

The clocks start from 10 where as on normal Sport start at 0
I know this because i have exact same white dials ( bought wrong set) and mine are 10 mph out so if it says im doing 40 im actually doing 30

Do something about it instead of being pissy on a forum. I did 80 mph today playing with a megane, tell me off? :-)

Why do you own a GTI if you never go over 60mph in a national speed limt I know it's good to say you don't but chill out man it's his licence, I can't see him getting up to 80 in a 30.
That is pretty good for a 1.4

Mate of mine had a 1.25 mk4 fiesta and it was quite nippy when driven properly (my mate is a good driver)

With all due respect, I understand people will "have fun" in a car.
But filiming yourself in what appears to be in a built up area is asking for trouble.
And I do do something about this kind of thing. Quite often in fact.
I wouldn't say I am getting "pissy" I am saying there is a time and a place for this kind of thing.
That is my view - respect that.
