To be fair, thats not a great pic.
I'd say this is a more accurate representation of how the car will look once detailed.

I think the wrap is a good idea. If the car was sprayed matt black and repairs were needed it'd cost alot more to fix. You can't exactly polish any scratches out.

With the wrap, the desired area of the car can be re-wrapped.

Then at the end of the day, if you get fed up with the wrap, you could peel it all off to reveal a pristine condition panther black RS500 which would look similar to this...

I had heard this but I wasn't sure if it was a joke or not. I think that could potentially look 10 times worse than a stonechip.

Maybe if you wrap the whole thing, but if you only need to do one wing, then it won't be that much.

However, seeing one on the road a few days ago, it looked bad-ass.

Possibly not then.

It does look like it sits that high: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_FoXyvaPSnVk/S7C1svh4yDI/AAAAAAACryg/kTZj6YeUDx0/s1600/Ford-Focus-RS500-26.jpg

surely if the price for the whole car to be re-wrapped is more, the price for one panel would be equally more expensive?

It'll no doubt stay 100% standard and original. My dad isn't one for modifying cars anymore. Especially not a limited edition model.
He just enjoys them.

Since its a brand new car i'm sure the springs will bed in and get a little lower as time goes by.

I've just been and checked the arch gap on the white one and its near enough the same, but it doesn't look bad at all.

You can specify red seats if you order one & they will fit at cost.

They just changed the UK alocation to black on the spec sheet because they thought the brits would brefer black. I know of 2 thats are coming over with red seats!!

Lovely motor.............Greens faster though

I don't think thats the case Colin. The boys over on focusrsoc have a couple of good connections in Ford and they pulled some strings.

The upside to the black seats means they're more exclusive. Only 99 out of the 500 have them
