To me it is, we put down a decent deposit and just trade up after 3 years and pay next to nothing for it.
Need to be reliable and cheap to run if Rach is on road brea.

Whats the point in paying extra to buy a car when you are going to change it every 3 years anyway.
With a corsa like that you can pick upa brand new one, that you'd own at the end, for a grand more, 2k more max.
It would hardly cost anything extra per month and you'd be much better off at the end of it.

Leasing can be a good thing.
Guy at work has a full maintenance plan on a Renaultsport megane for £250 a month, he's had it 3yrs & the balloon was 7k on it so he could either buy it or hand it back, he's bought it & taken it right round the corner to we buy any car for 10k.
I think he's done alright!!

Even when it's the same price to own it?
There are obviously times when it's beneficial to lease.
Not at those figures on that car though.

We wont be paying those figures though I agree 209 a month is too expensive.

Let us know how much you can get it for. The advertised rate of £209 a month with bugger all down always makes me wonder what you could get it for if you didn't put pocket money down as a deposit...

Though it's a shame it doesn't have the 90PS engine. I wonder why no one uses that anyone, mine seems to work ok

You get all of that except the servicing in this case for the same price, and you can give it back (sell/trade in) and be better off, with these figures.

50 miles a day really isn't that much.
How about a diesel VW?
I did 50 miles a day for 3 years in a £300 1.9 TDI VW Vento with 172k on the clock.

Who do they think they are? VW?
£8k to rent is just paying the depreciation then. Seems reasonable to me...

So its considerably cheaper to lease it if that price is right.

I don't see you getting thousands off of the list price, unless they have lots of them pre-registered and parked up in an airfield somewhere...
