60k Rob, you must be pretty flush...
I've been driving for 3.5 years
Had two cars, 1st - mk3 astra 1.6 I got free and the Corsa which I paid £2000 for (ouch)
If I was to sell I think I could get £1500 for the Corsa now.

5 years, 3 cars.
1st 3500, sold for 1500.
2nd 9000, wrote off but got 6500 back.
3rd 9500, still worth 7000.
So total spent £22k, but only cost £7k. Or £1400 per year.
Not bad that actually

Been driving 15 years
The ones I can think of off the top of my head which i've bought for me to drive (not strip lol) is 25
Spent on buying them about £130k thats not including any mods and I know i've missed some out - feel quite sick actually!
I'd probably get 45k back on what I have now

Far side of 30k easily
what did you have before the audi? i totally forgot
2 Corsa's. 1st one didn't really cost me much in the way of servicing, tyres etc. but cos I modded the 2nd one it cost me loads in tyres and replacing parts Like a new steering rack which I reckon was because of the 17" wheels plus the cost of the mods in the 1st place. Sod it, its only money

no not all!
For example my old s2000 bought for 10k sold for 10.2k then bought a cooper s works for 11k and sold for 10.5k so there's 20k just from that. Then the civic I bought for 4.5k had it a year and sold with all bits for just over 10.. I've had one loan of 8k and that's it!

Been Driving since 10 years coming up
Not including running costs, servicing, MoT or insurance etc
Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 8V - spent approximately £10k including buying it; broke it and scrapped it and sold it for about £1000 in parts max so lost £9k
Audi A3 1.8 T Sport; bought for £3000, sold for £2950 2 years later, so lost £50!
Jaguar X Type 2.0D bought for £3500
Reliant Kitten bought for £75 (two of us paid £75 each) will spend about £1000 on it but it'll be worth £7500 when finished!
On balance that means I'm down to the tune of £6125 which I don't think is bad!!
