I wouldn't even bother isolating the biceps for what you need to achieve, just stick to compound exercises, squats, Deadlifts, shoulder press and bench press for overall strength. You'll naturally find you can do more pull ups by doing this. Un-weighted I manage around 3 sets of 30 wide grip pull ups.

People's body respond in different ways. You might notice you gain quite a lot of muscle at the start (noob gains), then it'll feel like your getting nowhere with them.

Cut the crisps out straight away and replace with a protein shake or something, but then saying that you don't mention any supplements at all? Chuck a couple of weight gain shakes into your diet for an instant 1000 calories a day!

Isn't he on insulin etc. Why not take advice from people who see gains naturally.

I'll invest in some powders and shakes then. Can anyone recommend some that for the price and the taste are good value? I tried a chocolate one from the gym the other day and it was disgusting. I think it was a maximuscle one.

The couple of packs of crisps or similar are my daily treat. I don't go mental with the treats but it keeps me sane with the other stuff I eat lol

Tried it with both, I'll really struggle to drink it.

Think I'm going to this afternoon so I'll attempt a full measure when I'm home.

This is cheap lonsdale shit, thought I better try stuff I was basically getting for free before wasting money on expensive stuff I couldn't take.

Cheers lads. What are they like for taste ash? Any flavours nicer than others?
I just don't fancy spending £35 on a tub to hate the taste after one serving! Lol

Cheers mate I've ordered the PHD one so I'll see what its like when it arrives!

Been doing a fair bit of training tonight and I've ruined my arms lol I can't even lift my arms up to change channel in the tv! I've not hurt them I've just given them a right workout so I'll have a rest day for the arms tomorrow and go running.
