Well as far as I know its normally a 5-6 month turn around for features! Dave said mine was the quickest they have ever done, they already printed the "next month preview" before even doing the photoshoot. My Photoshoot was done on the 21st of Auguest and the feature is out on the 24th September Its same story for everything if they want to do it....

He contacted me initially for a feature and I've had to chase and chase him for everything I have dealt with them. He says he'll return calls etc. And never does.

dealing with tv themselves is shyt genrally from what ive heard from a few people. i only talked to dougie once over a u2u on here i think, then a photographer or someone else at tv rang me to arrange a date. car was in the mag the next month.
think it just depends on how intrested they are in your car at the time and if it fits in with other cars in the mag.

The entire mag needs to balance in terms of what is in it and if one car is scheduled alongside others then those aren't available, it can't go in until everything else comes together.
It's not as simple as photographing a car one day, writing about it the next and publishing a mag shortly after.

How weird I was just about to say exactly what Ian said.
When mine was featured I never dreamed it would make cove but because they don't or rarely like to put dark coloured cars on the cover they moved mine forward and put it on cover as they hadn't a car for that months cover that wasn't black or dark blue.
I've dealt with Dougie a couple of times face to face and hes ok, sometimes I think he does think a bit too much of himself.
He was alright when we done that Corsa VXR feature wasn't he Ian.

I personally think dougie is a top bloke to be fair. He spotted my motor at pvs on the sunday, It was photographed on the following friday, and on the cover for the September. Then the following year he sent me free of charge 2 full weekend passes for me and my dad for pvs. And the car was on the tv stand all weekend. Cant fault the bloke imo

as said above if they want it in there they will make sure it is! But they can't just do corsa, corsa, corsa all the time which is far enough, they have to make it readable for everyone!
Oh and the bedford this month is cool as fuck IMO i need something like that!
