Can't decide between getting a Carrera 2 hard top and whacking the GT3 bits on or getting a soft top and giving it a face lift front end.

Why not get an actual GT3 or a face lift in the first place and have a genuine as factory intended car?

Not a fan of doing that sort of thing myself. It'd be like me putting an S3 kit on mine when its not

You might think im stupid for putting a GT3 kit on a 3.4 Carrera but I'd be even more of a dick to wank £40k down a car when I could use that money to buy a second house and rent it out.

The only thing about the cabs is they dont look right unless the roof is down and in this country you only get about 2-3 months of the year that you can actually do that

Fingers crossed a black, white, silver or yellow damaged 996 will show up!

You'd have a nice 40k car though.

Need to enjoy it at some point, can always sell it again to recoup.

a 40k Porsche has lost at least 30k already, surely if you choose the right age and don't keep it forever you won't lose a stupid amount.

The only car I've lost money on in the last 5 years was that fucking ZT piece of shit.. Everything else I've gained.

For a £40k GT3 to hold its value I'd have to have it serviced at Porsche.. That would be worse than the depreciation

I'd want a FPSH as well tbh, I thought I'd heard those in the know thought otherwise, must have been incorrect.
