ooh, i've seen the results on the escort, can't be that bad.

my puma is in a similar state (not as bad) as the escort was, so can only improve it.

yes, and the corrado came up well too, the last owner is always commenting about how it always looks better than when he had it

i put the white pad on, and used power gloss, whacked machine up to full speed and held it in one spot on the bonnet, then pressed quite hard too (just to find out) and it did no damage. Its pretty hard to bugger up factory/original paintwork imo

i have found some areas of "aftermarket" paint (crash repair) that the polisher went through to the primer on through.

I've got a cheap eBay one and given the time the detailers. Apparently spend I could easily get the same results. I get 70% of it in 10 minutes.

I bought a DA but wish I went for the rotary, so hard to get decent results on VAG paint with a DA.

I'll be buying a rotary for next summer.

Is this an orbital one? Apparently these can only go so far with paint and can't fully correct paintwork as its not as hard working. Think its the rotary ones which are the more professional ones and give better results...

not sure how hard ford paint is? think it's medium.

i won't be doing it for money on the side as i'll just get bored of it. will just do it on my brothers corsa and my parents mondeo and freelander. can't see those being hard paints?
