Happy to try somewhere new but we have a good history with TOTD, owners are sound, cafe, and they seem to have an alright dyno. Jr - any chance you can speak to them and see what they can do for a rolling road day?

Bob is the guy who runs it, sound guy and they are accurate rollers, I ran mine there

It's just a suggestion really, seems more sense to have an SE event in the SE. And it's only down the road from Dartford Tunnel so easy for the Essex side

That looks massive compared to TOTD

Google maps is telling me 2 hours, satnav says 1 hour 40 mins. Twice as far as TOTD for me.

And actually the UB postcode is in SE so nerr Their site does say this though: "Torque of the Devil is currently moving to bigger premises. The Workshop is being updated to 4 two poster ramps whilst the Dyno Dynamics rolling road is being relocated into a bigger premises just across the road. These are exciting times and we will announce shortly when the complete move has taken place."

i really want to come but after some of the talk that most s/e meets are very close to no offence jr fad etc i think totd is to far for some se members so something in the middle of the region is much better than something that is at the top i could arrange a rr day at the place loal to me within 1 mile of my house how many would moan that its to far out of the se region then i will probably come whatever but a smaller fuel bill would be nice

my opinion for what its worth......

I dont think they would get through the amount of cars in a day we would have as last time i was there there was not the best organisation going on and although Bob is a realy nice guy he is a newby to dyno's and doesnt have the experience as TOTD.

I would sooner drive that little bit further and get a decent service.

My car ran the when i first got it 3 years ago and he turned me away after the first run as he said it was too lean and he didnt want to melt a piston. I went back 3 times after the map had been looked at and it was still the same.
I took the car to a place in Canterbury and was told that Vag cars normally run lean top end and they wernt concerned by this. 3 years later and the car is still ok and it has been ragged on track LOTS!

Benifit of the doubt and Dad took his corsa there this year and was told that his standard car was running lean

Only my experience. Bob as said is a nice bloke and very helpfull but i think he needs more experience before we set apon him with 30+ cars.

I was the opposite, I was told my car was running too rich! But that's about right really as all new cars seem to run richer than they need too...

Rolling Roads are all personal preference really but I just heard people saying they'd prefer somewhere actually in the SE region and I agree and have experience with Dynotech and they have a good review so thought I'd suggest it. If people wanna go TOTD then that's up to them but I probably won't go simply because I'll do near enough a tank of fuel with running my car aswell.

That's what I'm saying though, TOTD is actually in the SE region. I won't be going if it's at Dynotech as it's simply too far away. Same with my mate.

South East (Organised by: jr, willay)
Postcodes: BN, BR, CM, CO, CR, CT, DA, E, EC, EN, HA, IG, KT, ME, N, NW, RH, RM, SE, SM, SS, SW, TN, TW, UB, W, WC, WD

I'll admit it's only just SE by a technicality
