My GSi was reading 128mph at the Corsa Vs Saxo day, I was really doing 118mph

It's hardly a de-restricted Gsi, it's got head work, cams, chip, manifold, de-cat exhaust, manzel inlet manifold to name but a few. More a modded Gsi than a de-restricted one!

My Corsa was reading 110mph but recorded 112.9mph!

Funny how everyone digs Patrick now

Daveys car has not had head work. Just the inlet and outlet manifolds flowed to match.

Luca, in effect, you can't de-restrict it no, but the C16 engines were restricted from 150bhp to 109bhp. Too shite a fuel economy, raw power rather than smooth, plus the fact it showed up the big vauxhall engines. The inlett manifold and cams were changed. So if someone can get the inlet manifold, cams, and a decent engine management system, you should see around 140bhp already.

still not much in the way of a turbo though. bit disappointed in that. car looks gay anyway with those stupid exhaust pipes
