Hope we play as well against Man Utd reserves as we did against Chelsea.

to be fair they should of been playing against 10 men for an hour or so, if Bothroyd did it against a prem team he'd of been splashed all over the back pages by now. Becchio was very lucky to get away with his leg in tact.

They were bummed though

Dont know what you mean, looked like a fair tackle to me

Its about time people got revenge on Leeds for their dirty tactics in the past. Fouls should be allowed against Leeds.

Arsène Wenger will continue to field a stronger Carling Cup side in the Fourth Round tie at Newcastle on Wednesday night.

For many years the Frenchman sent out teams that showcased the Club’s youngest talent in this competition. However at Tottenham in the last round, he employed a relatively experienced squad and was rewarded with a handsome 4-1 victory.

Speaking to TV Online on Tuesday lunchtime, Wenger revealed he would be repeating the approach at St James’ Park.

“It will be similar to Spurs,” said Wenger. “We have players coming back like Walcott, Bendtner and Vela. Koscielny is fit to start. They will play.

“From the Man City game, we have no-one out [with injury]. One or two will be rested. Vela is back.”

However there will be a number of young players involved, including Wojciech Szczesny who will make only his second appearance for the first team.

“In the squad, we will have Eastmond, Lansbury and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas,” said Wenger. “Wojciech will be in goal.”

In other news Bebe is starting tonight, should be interesting to get a proper look at the lad

To say it's mostly our kids/backup players tonight it still looks a pretty strong team.

Amos

Brown Smalling Evans Fabio

Park Carrick Gibson Obertan

Macheda Bebe
