The views of many?? Where are you getting that from? I could believe that it's the view of one or two people, but in the last 3 years the site has only gotten better.

As Danny just pointed out there are rules on spelling and grammar. Likewise there are rules about real abuse, not just swearing. We are all grown-ups here, and, whether you like it or not people will give their opinion using and including swear words.

Danny, you're right, the site is fine.

You know what annoys me? People who get on their high horses about things, only to make multiple spelling and grammatical errors in their post
First sentence – wouldnt should be wouldn’t
Sixth sentence – to should be too, and the q in queens should be capitalised
Ninth sentence – Lets should be Let’s
Tenth sentence – there should be their, and acess should be access
Fifteenth sentence – thieve’s should be thieves
Sixteenth – Again Lets should be Let’s
Twentieth – referrral should be referral
Twenty-second – incase should be spaced apart, in case

I could keep going, constant misuse of there, lets, its, as well as lack of capitalization on Tourette’s.

The good thing about this site is everyone speaks their mind, no one sugar coats everything. If something looks shit and you ask for an opinion then the masses will tell you it's shit. I'd rather have it this way than a site full of people praising everything.

Learn to take it on the chin, this is the internet afterall.

Think your self lucky you can speak your mind on here.

Say one comment out of line (not abusive or anything) on the s2000 forum and you get a warning and the thread locked or remove. It's boring.

Agreed, I think its spot on that you made this thread. there are loads of people on here that tend to "jump the bandwagon" if you make a silly thread or post a reply they dont like.

Im a member on a few forums and although cs is the best laid out, I think its the worst for the members attitudes when it comes to welcoming newbies and helping them with questions they have.

fair play to you for bringing it up

Just another moan tbh Mark, we will get them all the time and whatever he says will be put behind us by tonight/tomorrow, because the site is fine how it's being manned.

So stop effin moaning and get on with it.

Edit: see he is Offline now everyone's replied with what he didn't want to hear. Fool.

CS is the least strict forum i am on. Which in some ways is good. But people on here can be very unhelpfull and will just post shit in peoples threads asking for help.

Take this for example...

Alan-g gave a decent answer. _Allen_ on the other hand is clearly been a bellend. posting in French? I mean come on grow up ffs!

@glb - That's _Allan_ for you though the joker of the site, and plus you did put 'French' in the title of your post. Don't get so angry.

Its not my post. Its clear that it was referring to the car.

Little things like that will discourage new member from staying and paying preem, thus stopping the site making money

Then they wonder why problems occur. The main problems come from a lack of communication in sales. If they had more contact details, they'd be fine!

I hasten to add that there were no problems with any of the sales I made, as I'm a decent seller and not out to scam anybody, but if I had been, they'd all made it oh so easy for me to have Ł500 off them.

I disagree with some of this, I havnt bought off many people on here (Usually when i do i collect anyway), but providing ive seen them about on the forum a bit i havnt bothered asking for address/number etc, most decent people wont be as well known as the scammer who has come on to rip somebody off.

Il admit though, the people ive sold to, id prob say 9/10 of them dont ask for address/number, but i usually give them my number anyway and now a few people on here know me fairly well anyway.

But that is never going to change i dont think.

I bet if this thread was created by an elite premium member with over 26 years of CS experience the views and comments would be a lot more positive, imo.
