not even high mileage, its a deisel, people buy them to drive down the motorway every day
service intervals are 20k a year,
70k is nothing with an engine sitting at 2,000rpm at 70mph

I agree entirely - I bought my 56 plate Fabia with 64k on it, and I'm not worried about it at all. The things I'd be more worried about from higher mileage cars are the clutch and DMF, but when a car has cruised up and down a motorway at 70-80mph for most of it's life, that's about as easy a life as it can get.
Edit: I've only recently stopped driving my Corsa, and that had 157k on the clocks FFS

alot better then short stop start journeys, infact you get a ex fleet company car, the ones that use vx they are more maintaned than most private peoples!
my dads vectra is coming up to 100k, never had a problem with it, dmf, egr and swirl flaps were changed under warranty (even though the werent all faulty ) serviced regualy. never missed a beat.
yeah graeme coupe has gone
got a 1.2 corsa c sxi coming? lol

I will say again
" at 70k miles being high"
My 12volt corsa was on 106k when i sold it and it went through an MOT with no advisories and i had it for a year before that and trashed it everywhere for 12k miles. Then sold it and it was insured up to last month i think.

It's crazy isn't it, though I don't think it's just CS.
Was it someone on here who said "not using your car to keep the miles down is like not shagging your missus to keep her tighter for her next boyfriend"?
