wide wheels different offset probably. see if it can fit 8x17 in or something. its going to be very costly though thats the only downside. might just leave it on the wish list and carry on as it is with the car.

Wouldn't 17s be a little too big and effect the handling?
I know you need big brakes.

17s would be fine as long as you set the car up for them.

do you really need wide arches for 17's?

If you fit wide arches it means you can still lower the car on 17s the same way that you can on 15s. I think.

you'd surely want a wider track with that kit ?
low offset 17x8 with wide tyres would give a better chance to get the power down

Fuck no, my 18s weigh about as much as 2 15 inch OE vauxhall alloys together.

Fuck that, why are they so popular as racing wheels then? Just for the strength?

yeah. i hit curb sideways at quite a high speed. didnt crack the wheels at all. ideal for motorsport really. also the inner diameter is very large so can fit the likes of 300 mil discs and 4 pots under the 15's so i imagine the likes of 17's would also fit bigger brakes under.
