Very divided on here I see which is a good thing imo.

MK5 for me. That MK4 does look nice though. Just look a bit old now.

What's the crack with the wheel bolts on that MK5?

The MK4 is supercharged running about 370bhp and has had about the same spent on it.

The MK5 has had the VW badge done black now and its been lowered a wee bit, plus the milltek exhaust is pretty new. No idea what the craic is with the wheel bolts lol

but tbh, I would probably just end up buying something different as they're way over priced.

Mk3 is worse than the 4

I've had both and beg to differ.

If their both the same price, I'd be going to th mk5. Not many people are going to want to buy a 13k mk4 wether it's supercharged or not.

The golf R32 and the Corrado are pretty much the best cars VW have made, quite sad in a way.

MK5 for me, the fact it's not initially noticable to many as something different isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'd go for the manual too...

I like the way the mk4 looks, but the mk5 is a much better car.

I'd probably go for a silly mk4 over a boggo mk5.

Go for the mk5 eck, It's the newer motor, I personally think it's a nicer looking car compared to the mk4 and I think when it comes to selling on in the future the mk5 would be a better bet.
