either way, the speed that either gearbox is good for is related to the rev limit, and the power of the engine, size of wheels, aerodynamics depending on other stuff probably as well.

should, giving a long enough road, be able to crack limiter in 5th in xe corsa.

Theres two different F20's though isnt there? My old Corsa with an F20 and a 8250 rpm limiter maxed out at under 140.

F20 from 4x4 cav has lower final drive apparantly don't know by how much that alters it at those rpm tbh. Never really done much with gearbox messing.

Im sure it was yknow? I had an F18 in it at first and didn't have the power to get anywhere near the limiter in 5th, so I changed to an F20 when I broke it and the ratios were miles closer.

That was the last time I drove it too at Bruntingthorpe on some Redline day, lifted off three quarters of the way down because I was on the limiter in 5th and im sure I didnt break 140mph?

Book speed for GTE 16V 137mph.

I had my van right off the clock, but the speedeo is miles out any way
