castle coombe is 2nd fasters circuit in the country, it never struggled round there

your car, and im sure your look after it, but just feel youve bought the best example of a small block track car, and now about to take everything good about it away

personally, and nothing to do with this car specifically, would rather have a n/a car for the ring, with heat build up etc over 13 miles of abuse

anyway make sure you look after the gsi

Knockhill isnt a fast circuit though.

You stand and watch the likes of Clio Sports and other N/A cars going up the hill and it looks like they struggle.

Not much keeps up with the small Turbod/SC'd cars at Knockhill on your average track day.

Just LET it, it's what it needs.

Although everybodies right about it living with better stuff, especially on a power circuit like combe.

Oh yes

Keep the 1.6 imo, there are far too many GSi's that have had the original engines replaced with turbos. TB the 1.6 if you ask me.

You yourself said in the first post that these are getting rare, and one with the original engine in is even rarer.

XE on TB would be a better compromise.

I've been in it and it's funny as fuck how quick it is around a track.
