Hmmm, well.... 19-0, 200odd behind. Starts at 2348 tonight apparently, first time I should be able to actually watch some of it.

Sounds like we were very unlucky today with a few decisions (Hussey surviving on his appeal, 3 runs later, should of been out, but we'd wasted our 2 appeals already), few dropped catches, and from the sound of it, just bad luck from Anderson especially.

was thinking that today, get a 250ish lead, declare at lunch and have a go at them possibly? Or play safe and just go for a draw.

Still a good day. Let's get in and put 500 up. Even use more than 3 batsmen if we need to.

Let's see how we perform on this 'batting wicket' first.

We should make 500 plus ... its a good wicket for batting - better than the last one as its quicker and so is the outfield.

That was brilliant from england last night - I wasnt going to stay up all night but it was too good to miss .... one of the best bowling/fielding performances we have ever put in....Jimmy Anderson for sports personality of the year imo - legend.

Harris looked sharp for them in the one over so we will have to see him out - other than that we are looking good to win this one. Not only have they scored 250 runs less than thye should of done but they have let us bat on day 2 which should be the best day for batting.

These tests are killing me- snatching 2-3 hours sleep before and after work - no way am I missing the Aussies getting a pasting in their own back yard

the first morning I was planning on watching some, wasn't in work till 8, wake up at 6, got an hour and a half to watch the cricket. Fucking Rain.

We're killing them though, probably bat till lunch tomorrow then declare? Gives us a day and a half to get them out, they'd need near 400-450 by then i'd imagine?

Be interesting to see when we do declare. Especially with the weather causing the pitch to act up.

I'd consider it too tbh. 2 days is a long time. They won't be able to bat it out for that long.

Just conisdering how long they'll let Pietersen bat given his form of the last year, whether they'll try and let him get his highest score.

Maybe give them an hour or so to bat before lunch.

Thing is, it's a batting wicket, so don't want to set too low a total, in case they manage to hold out for a bit and put us back in.

There's a ton of footholes that should be perfect for Swann, so would expect him to get a few in their innings whenever it is

620-5d. Good quick batting session. Now time to skittle them out for a humiliating innings defeat!
