Our whole family were out for over an hour last night shovelling the snow and helping push the neighbours car into a safe place to stay overnight.

We've always had good neighbours tbh, the last 4 from the old house still keep in touch and come up over New Year and stuff.

I speak to my immediate neighbours and if they needed help I'd be there, not in a stalker way but if the house was on fire or being broke into etc

I sometimes help the OAPs on my avenue to clear the roads as it's quite steep. Other than that I'm a complete prick.

One of my neighbours borrowed his old mans mini JCB over the weekend last time it snowed, he started off clearing our street and i think by the end of the day him and another bloke had done the entire estate. Thats pretty legendary tbh.

Live in a cul-de-sac, got neighbours either side, only see them to say hello to really, which is good enough for me.

Same.
In general I think this country is loosing the community spirit, less and less neighbours actually socialise.

We had some right knob jockeys living next door to us until last year and they moved away The family that live there now are lovely, always plesant and welcoming. They love baking too so always drop round some cake etc

I was going to do our road last year, but Notts council had removed all the grit bins! Also they wouldn't grit our road despite it being fairly steep and having a primary school at the top!!!

I'm pretty neighbourly or at least I used to be. There have been some right dicks moving to my street in recent years though and I couldn't give a shit about them. Wouldn't be clearing snow for them fuckers anyway.
