Think about it, how many young people you know have crashed compared to older people?
I personally know no older person that has crashed.

Insurance drops a decent bit when your 21 bud. Admiral wanted £1500 fc for my Ibiza Fr at 20, soon as i turned 21 it went to £825

Time you switched to brentacre.
Im 22, 1ncb, driving 1 year when i wanted to insure my old 182. Infact my first car policy was still running with flux direct when i took it out.
190bhp limit.
Tpft was under 1100 and fc was just under 1400.
Every other insurer were 3k and above.

6 month later i swap it for a ctr and it costed me an extra 60 quid a year.

being 21 makes a huge difference and also a s2000 is a good deal more valuable and faster than a mk3 golf......... i do however like your golf

Good point! Area i live in isnt bad, but its the next "town" on that's bad, and they share the same post code. And i work in the motor trade, which fucks it up even more.

I tried Brentacre, best they could do was £1995 with a 190bhp limit.

It just gets worse and worse. Got to be all the whiplash claims, a example i read was that When they first started claiming only the driver would claim whiplash but now everyone in the car claims whiplash.

Insurance has gone mental. I've recently moved to a friends traders policy.

A pal in the army has bought a 320d Msport conv, and hes paying £3600. It's absolutely crazy.

That's mad mate, is that the cheapest price you can get it for?

First year of driving is horrific nowadays, I begrudged paying a 1200ish when I was 17, its doubled in the last 4-5 years!

Its worth going on a policy as a named driver rather than your own policy if you're 17 imo... do you live in a shitty area?
