I think they need to rename this award "Sports Personality of the last X years now they have finally won X"

What has AP done this year? Won the GN - how many other majors has he won?

Yeah it was the final thing for him to win but then he should be up for a lifetime award for " of the year" award.

Same as last year. Giggs did sod all last year in comparison to many but won't it for being consistant.

pffft, what a useless winner then, blatantly should of been someone else

glad McCoy won it, feel sorry for Taylor, could of been his one real chance to win it with footballers being shit all year, 2012 is obviouslty going to be an athlete

My point exactly - the title is "Sports Personality of the year 2010" so only 1 of those count thus my point that he should have been up for lifetime award.

Is their an award for any foreign people? Best international personality, that kind of thing? Would love to see Valentino Rossi get a little award. That would be nice.

Did anybody think the applause was FAR too long for becks, and becoming a little cringeworthy?

I didnt watch this but was juts looking through the nominations.

How the fuck was Manny Pacquiao not even shortlisted for overseas sports personality.

Broke records in the sport this year, best pound for pound boxer we have seen in our lifetime ..... plus hes odds on to be a future leader of his country - goes out on the street and gives money to poor peaople ect ect.

Raffa Nadal wins it - because he has big arms.

Nadal won because he won Wimbledon, which is in England, which is exposure to the UK public.

How good a ride would Ennis be?

You would have to go into training 6 months before getting a shot of her.
