Isn't it to do with what the tyres are made of as well? More silicon or something? That way the tyres grip better because they can hold heat more than a standard all weather tyre in the snow? I'm probably just talking shit though

Fitting winter tyres doesn't stop other people crashing in to you that are running normal tyres

This is the major problem; you could be the greatest Ice racing driver with a perfectly set up Snow/Ice car but you still couldn't account for the other road users

Thats what puts me off getting snow socks or anything like that. Rather my car was stuck on my drive than me being able to get out only to be rewarded by some twat crashing in to me

Did you put a business card under the wiper?

I said that to chloe
there is a rover in my carpark that has reversed hard into a wall. I put my card under the wiper but not heard anything. It's not moved but now has a different colour boot and bumper fitted. Rear panel is bent right in though.
Oh and the old boot and bumper are in the bin cupboard

Thats a stupid idea tbh. What about work and stuff. Life needs to go on, and not stop because of abit of snow.

Funny you should say that Adam, I was thinking earlier on how i was disappointed at the snow we'd had, the only challenge I've had up to now was reversing onto the drive last night when my Mum's car was there and it was only a challenge because that was there, tonight I reversed up it pretty easily because I had the extra space and no other car to hit. I liked it back in Jan when everyone was crying about not being able to get their cars off their drives and I was out and about with relative ease, I got stuck twice through misjudgment but nothing a 30 seconds or so of digging couldn't sort out, it was funny driving passed abandoned cars as if it was any other day of the year
