Yeah not sure what lenses he has but I think he needs something a bit wider.
Did you register on WR Gaz? That's where the stuff will be announced first. There's also a FB group if you're on there.

i went for a open day today
was absolutley cracking
some dodgey moments as i was running worn road tyres
slippery as hell
spinning out of most corners
but was actualy a brilliant day
met faz aswell
ended up spinning out just infront of him on the 1st corner after the grid at about 80ish and makeing him spin out too
other than that
was a cracking dayyy

i done it on road tyres too that were half dead, not even a matching set, or decent ones at that. once they were upto heat and i dropped the pressures it was sound as though

I was struggling on that first corner, would brake and the rear right would try to overtake the front, doesn't help that there's a weird groove down the left

I plan to have an all out track weapon within 2 years. Probs a stripped out, caged classic mini with a highly tuned A-Series that will cause some upsets. Especially round corners.

I remembered AK mentioning that odd bit of tarmac so I avoided it, with the joys of a 1.2 barely braked for that 1st corner, just a quick dab, dropped a gear then chucked it in

Yes
Actually, a piece of advise to follow beforehand, it's some advice I was given a while back and it seemed to help.
Drive faster, brake less
You've only done one trackday, keep going and get a proper feel for the car then upgrade when needed. I've done 2 years on Eagle F1s and the last few times out, I've found that now they're not enough, at first they were fine because I was driving too slow and braking too much, now I've got a feel for it and know what I'm doing more, I need better tyres so I'll be investing in either R888s or AO48s and that will hopefully cut down on the sliding about that I do due to overworking the road tyres

i think ive decided slabs (15"???) + sme form of tyre (what size is best on a cav slab)
2 ltr brake discs -if they fit under 14"'s
ds2500 pads

Yeah, tyre pressures need adjustment. After my spotter laps I set the fronts to 27, backs to 26, went out did 3 laps and I could feel the tyres going crap on the third lap, just kept understeering everywhere, came back in, fronts were at 32psi, dropped them back to 27 and went out again and they were spot on, I was out for probably 16-18 laps at one point, chasing an XE Nova for half of it so wasn't exactly giving them an easy time and they didn't seem to go off at all which was quite pleasing because if they had I might never have passed the Nova

i ran 28 fronts 26 rears which seemed to be spot on seemed to me they we're rising about 4psi when they were getting hot

i didnt have a play with tyre pressures myself
but i was having constant adjustments of my coilovers
set them at full rebound
took her out for a cuple of laps with y mate andy
was understeering way to much so we took it off about 4 clicks on the front
took her out again and it was better but still going too forwards especialy in the cicanes and the last right hander after druids, the one that drops downhill
so we took her back in again
another 3 clicks down
took her out and it was absolutley perfect
wrll i say perfect, asperfect as you can get running bald road tyres haha
i did a naughty bit of timeing and ran a 2.34.3 in the end which i was happy about as my 4th lap in was a 2.41
