What's the problem with a poster on hand washing?

Care staff have to pass entire modules on hand washing. I guarantee the majority of people don't do it correctly or enough.

You'd think they would be more worried about folk not knowing how to wash hands, not knowing how to run an oil platform than them having shitty palms but its just the way it is so you just have to nod & smile when you see it. There is some filthy tinks on there right enough!!

Nurse...carer...2 different things.

Pretty sure nurses don't do a whole module on how to wash your hands.

A nurse is a part of the care environment.

This thread is turning into the most ironic of the year

i think they are just using 'corked' as its a word they associate with wine thats off/bad.

It doesnt need to be cork sealed to be off.... it can happen in the barrel for example

But it does need to be cork to have bits of cork floating in it

Yes. I know what it is..They are adimant there is cork in their wine.

Shell will give you an ear bashing if she see's this thread But what Hammer says is correct. There are far too many things floating about now (norovirus, MRSA etc etc) which get passed on because Nurses/relatives are not washing their hands correctly after coming into contact with patients. It really isn't difficult to comprehend

Ironic?

I believe the irony is in the stupidity shown towards correct hand washing technique, amongst other things.

Lawrah....

Wine being "corked" doesn't actually mean its got cork in it. It just means its off.

Couldn't agree more.

Why do you think most of our hospitals are riddled with MRSA. Its muppets not washing hands etc properly.

It is if you only wash two fingers.

As for the bottle, you'd need to be pretty dim to take a corkscrew to a metal cap.
