Fronts are in, just forgot to take pictures of them

I think it's ready for an MOT now, sorted out the dodgy earth on the rear light, it has two wipers (even if they aren't quite right they clear the screen!), seat seems to be well mounted, gunna chuck it in and see what it fail on!

No reason why it won't pass on those plates... they are horrible but still more than readable!

AW06 yes they are, if you can that would be fantastic I need 2

Not doing ANYTHING to it now until an MOT certificate comes... just see what needs doing (if anything) or if it's a lost cause, I've had fun up to now and spend next to nothing on it

You can substitute the bolts for something else, can't remember but I'm sure there's some part of the seat belt slider that uses the same thread.

Yeah it's not particularly peculiar, just you'll have some in stock already if you've done a strip in the past.

I went through the spare bolts department at home yesterday and nothing fitted, well, something screwed in but it was way too long and I only had one!

AW06 sent me a couple of spare bolts, a big help, thanks mate

Got the two back centre caps on today and pumped the tyres back up to 32 PSI.

Thanks Bonney, I need to get a drivers side wiper arm (well, 2, one for Dan as well!). He lent me a "pair" of arms which turned out to be both passenger ones! Never mind, bit too long on the drivers side but MOT tested didn't know!

Chucked it in for an MOT today. I wasn't expecting a pass and alas, it didn't pass . Emissions (CO2 and Lambda both high), Handbrake isn't locking one side - had a go at adjusting this today but failed miserably! Friend is going to help me tomorrow - and a bulb.

Changed the Lambda sensor and air filter to help the emissions, old one (lambda) looked like the original from 15 years ago! Air filter was pretty dirty too. Will do the oil and filter tomorrow (both of which are 'in-stock') then chuck it back in for a retest.

Pleased and a little hacked off, emissions are difficult to fix (really hoping it doesn't need a new CAT!), but, everything I've fixed (seat, tyres, subframe etc) passed!

Ummmm....

Just put a load of redex in and get it nice and hot before hand. Should be ok with a good service.

Do they have an airflow meter on these?

No air flow meter, CO2 was quite high, 2.5% when it's meant to be .3% or something? Just reading on the internet though it's not THAT high, seeing reports of 7.5%+

I gave it a bit of a hard time for like 10 minutes before the test, but that's the first time it's really moved in a couple of weeks. Might stick a tenner in and give it some proper beans before the retest
