What do you mean not really?
They've won fuck all and they'll continue to do so with a bunch of over paid, mercenary cunts.

They will be well up for it now, not that they weren't anyway, its a big game for them. The fans have who they want in charge and it will give both them and the team a lift.
Its Liverpools Champions league final tomorrow
do man city fans know what champions league finals are like?
Nope but in future years the chances of City making it there is far greater than Liverpools
Still Liverpool fans can always talk about there history, sure they will do for years and years to come without winning a thing.
must be shit having to spend all that money to compete with the rest of the league and still not really succeed
You lot are the new old city.

What players has your history bought you recently? Fuck all, money talks in football not history. History means nothing to 99% of current footballers. The only ones that care about history are the likes of Giggs and Scholes who tbh are a breed that will never be seen again.
In fact Liverpools history is like a millstone round the clubs neck as there fans still believe they are a top 4 club

Man City won the league cup in 1970 and 1976,(5 times less than Liverpool who have won it more than any other club most recently in 2003 and 2001 when they also won the FA cup and the Uefa cup, also runner up 3 times in the league cup) as one of the wealthiest teams in the world they are favourites to win it this time, 34 years later. There, i dont think i missed anything... oh wait.. West Brom

Liverpool are shit - you dont spend £100 million plus on johnson, aqualaini, riera, lucas and babel and then expect to be anything other than shit...should have bought walcot imo
Man City just need to buy some fucking footballers - they look more like a rugby 7's team than a football team - ballotelli, richards, toure, lecott, jo, adabayor should give up football and just go on gladiatiors - would piss it.
If man city keep signing players like silva, dzeko, tevez ect though they are gonna win the league pretty soon.

Spoken like a true gobshite city fan. The kind of players you have attracted and will continue to attract will (continue) to act like spoilt kids. Adebayor, Balotelli, Tevez, the Toures. All of them there for the money, all of them holding you to ransom and showing your club and fans no respect, turning up when they feel like it. You can't buy class mate, but you wouldn't understand anything about class, hence your post

£100m on them, really (try closer to £55m)? Should have bought Walcott for £10m+ (who's done what exactly)? We have bought some players who haven't turned out to be great but every club does that, we've also managed in many cases to recoup alot of what we have paid for certain players. We haven't had the luxury of spending £30m on one player like certain clubs from manchester and london, so we've had to wheel and deal a bit over the last 3/4 years while paying back massive debt repayments/being under the stewardship of two clowns.
Our strategy going forwards (that was started largely by Benitez and is being built upon by Comolli) is to spend money on bright young prospects and learn/get someone in long term to develop them properley. The fact kenny has been heavily involved in the academy for a while and with coaches like Clarke joining the team will help us to do that. We've got a load of talent now that isn't far away from breaking through into the 1st team squad, and i'm sure we'll bolster that with a few complimentary first team squad signings over the next few windows. I'm much happier doing it that way as opposed to spunking £24m on every player who's in good form. If that makes us shit for the short term in the eyes of the rest of the teams in the league that's fine by me, i'm happy to do it the right way and bide my time.

Which is when he started posting in here Funny how he's talking about Liverpool being shit and then following it up by talking about when they (city) got taken over they were shit/had no investment blah blah. We've only had our new owners for a few months, and as much as we aren't gonna go and try and buy the league like you lot the irony is still amusing, I expect if Dick Raper was sitting at 12th in the league now he'd be burning his shirt/supporting manure.

The main clown was Benitez - not the owners....he wasted countless millions on sub standard players. Johnson - £18million, Aqualaini - £20 million, Babel - £11.5 million ...cant say you havnt spent money....you just wasted it.
You really think your fans will give it three years with kenny to bring through new talent .... which we keep hearing about but dont get to see playing for you .... pacheco has been the great liverpool hope for ages now but never gets a game.
Best thing you can do is go and get owen coyle and give him 5 years to sort you out ... would be the man fr the job imo
