His hand was pinned against a big rock wall by another rock, it was either cut his arm off or spend the next 50 years carving the rock in to a ladder

The fact it's a true story is what makes this film
Saw the real guy on tv the other day and he said he spent loads of time with the actor to make it realistic! Even showed him the real footage of him saying his last goodbyes to family which he's never shown anyone but his family since!
Gotta ask yourself what would you do?

Didn't like the look of this, thought it would be the same as open water as not much could happen but saw theres a dvdscr out so gave it a go and it was incredible, loved every minute of it, didn't know it was a true story til the end either. Recommend everyone to see it.

went on sunday night to watch this, i had read in the paper about it and been told it was really good so got my hopes up and wasnt disapointed. one of the best films ive seen in a while

Saw this last night, truely quality film! I was nearly sick though with his arm, I think because I got so into it didn't help as I've seen far worse.
