PS3->HDMI->TV
PS3->OPTICAL->SURROUND SOUND

TV->PHONO->SURROUND SOUND



Phono is the red and white plugs.

ive set it up like this but the built in freeview box in the tv only works with a scart lead not the phono leads!

its sounds like a big echo!

any help guys?

you'll have to turn off the tv speaker i'd imagine.

If there's an option for that, otherwise you might be screwed on it, have you tried turing the tv volume right down, or does that just silence everything?

I just bought a Sony HT-AS5 more than the £100 but excellent bit of kit!

Doesn't come with a DVD / Blu-Ray but has 3 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output!

I have Sky / PS3 / Wii / TV all going through it!
