Get to powerflow mate!! Done a cracking job on two of mine now, don't care what people say about them.

I always ask for the bend over the rear beam to be extra huge! Ha, they don't mind whatsoever!

If I was padding it I'd use leather rather than rubber.

Got one for the Astra and its a perfect fit!

I had a 9 month battle with one of them, there was never a time when it fitted right, it was either blowing, knocking on the beam or both, gave up in the end and got a Longlife made up which only ever knocked once when I was giving some mates a lift and the 2 18 stoners where in the back

My Janspeed, and the Magnex I had on the van never knocked.

What system have you got? What rubber hangers has it got on it?

Sportex will be too loud for track days.

My Sportex system fits like a beauty - it's never, ever knocked and comes out straight at the rear

You just need to spend time getting everything set right with when you fit it. If you rush, the likelihood of it being badly fitted/wrong is much greater!

buy a remus system . i tried loads of different exhausts for my 1.6 about 3 years ago and the remus is by far the best fitting (remus made the optional extra irmscher backboxes for b's iirc) i had the resonated system and it was the best fitting system ive ever seen. i was -100mm and it never caught even with people in the back.
