The said I can choose how I want to take it forward. ie. Just a warning to him or take him to court. If it goes to court do I physically have to go? Don't know if i can be arsed with all that BS.

Take it to court, All the evidance is there showing he did it so not got a leg to stand on. He may even get done for the road rage (As this is what started it in the first place).

Then, A few months after it has all blown over, Go for option 2. But make sure you do it somewhere out of the way and no one sees you

Best of both worlds.

I got about £2k after about 14 months.

That was because of a fractured cheek bone and damaged nerves.

I very much doubt you'll get anything for a split lip.

Certainly worth reporting it to the police though. Cunt needs to be taught a lesson for acting that way.
