I got clamped round the corner from my work,
Just walked back to work, grabbed an extension and grinder,
Cut the lock off, left them a nice shiney one still in the packet from the stores also at work lol, they weren't impressed when they turned up to check the area again, and my car was still there with the clamp next to it, needless to say they've never bothered again.

I've just been clamped and the "ticket" is just a square of paper with clip art padlocks and a mobile number saying £95 cash only

Where do I stand? They're clearly dodgy, do I cut it off and say it wasn't there when I got there or try and get the to take if off arguing the legality o it?

CBA reading the 2 pages, so i dunno if its been said.

But it is now illegal for anyone to clamp. (apart from council folk)

No ifs no buts, no 'i have an SIA clamping badge' its illegal.

Pretend you havent seen it, set off, sue. Job done.

Either that or ring him and have it out.
