125.6p for petrol where i am and thats at the shell which is cheaper than anywhere else.
plus you always get that small bit of petrol thats still in the nozzle from the last fill.
still its a fucking joke how expensive everything is getting.

I'm sick of living on the breadline in all honesty, after paying mortgage and bills I have about £250 to live off, sometimes a little bit more, that's to cover food, petrol, socialising, clothes, anything unexpected... i'm 3k in debt which isn't too bad given the grand scheme of things I guess but I'd rather get that cleared. My last payrise was in 2008? Supposed to have had one in July last year but we're still waiting for that whilst the union bicker over the drivers payrise.

Having only just moved out I'm still adjusting to the cost of living. After everything is paid for I'm about right on budget for what I expected so can't complain.
Stuff like fuel isn't affecting me as I now walk to work, and I've never had to pay for gas/electric before so doesn't feel expensive when I've got nothing to compare it to.
My only worry is if interest rates shoot up as it'll take away any saving I'm currently doing. I shouldn't go negative per month, but even so I don't want to be spending more than I'm earning!

Electricity went up in January, or at least they decided to put my direct debit up. Cost of food is beginning to be a killer, just glad I don't drive anywhere.

i haven't really noticed any change tbh.
i pay my electric/gas/water by direct debit every month and was well in credit before this month. might owe them a bit because the heatings been on a lot.
petrol is about a fiver more expensive every week (i do a tank, 35 litres, a week).
my sky has gone up a couple quid but thats a luxury so it's my own fault.
i need to organise my money tbh as i have quite a lot of disposable income every month yet never seem to see any of it

oh and i don't really go out or spend money on clothes so thats a saving there.
food/toiletries costs us about 50 quid a week on average which isn't too bad.
you just need to be sensible and not blow all your money on booze and clothes.

Yea diesel is constantly going up so it now costs £65 a month for the 5-600 miles we do, but where we live even though its only 7 miles from work you cant walk or bike there safely down a dual carriageway (and its fucking freezing outside anyway )
Gas and leccy doesnt bother me too much, we are careful with what we use, my actual dual fuel bill for 20/12/10 - 26/01/11 came to £80 so still over £40 in credit on there
Im just hoping interest rates stay at 0.5% until next March when the mortgage has to be renewed, if it jumps by 3% or something stupid we are a little bit fooked, payment goes from £500 to £720 a month

Just took a quarter pay cut to change industry and follow a career plan and will now be commuting 100 miles a day instead of 60.
Really hope I've called it right on this one!
Going to buy a cheaper commuter car I think, something that sips diesel rather than necking it.
[ok, long term notion is to earn WAY more than I was, but thats in a few years and right now I've sacrificed a few contracts that would have paid better than my old one to follow it]

Ive done the exact same, went from half a mile from work to 100 mile round trip, and a huge pay cut. However, the new job is actually a career and will hopefully be very well paid once im through my time
