I went to Orlando last September for a week then we drove down to Miami.

Orlando was awesome for the parks, as said food was cheap. We met a group of local girls out there too and they game out with us on a few nights, took us to some clubs down town. The shopping was ridiculous, I spent so much money on my credit card (I am still paying it off now )

One of my mates organised it and his parents are part of some Marriott Hotel time share so we got an amazing apartment for £100 each for the week in Orlando. Was massive, huge bedrooms, hot tub.

Heres a pic of the main area in the apartment.

We got a Universal admission ticket which was valid for x amount of days. We did Universal and Islands of Adventure in one day as it wasnt too busy and we waited no longer than 10minutes for any ride. That ticket also got us admission into one of the water parks, Wet n Wild?, and City Walk which is at Universal where we went a few nights to the clubs bars and restaurants there.

Car Hire wasnt too expensive either, considering we are all under 25 and we had the car for 10 days. We just nominated one driver though so we only had to pay one young driver fee.

Was probably the best holiday I have ever been on and theres talkof going again next year. Though I think I would rather check out another area of the US if I go again.

If you have never been I cannot recommend it high enough!

buying a hotel are we?

i'd say there was maybe 2 mile difference betweek the hotels

but the is a tram that runs constantly up i-drive so its not too bad, there are plenty of decent places to eat up near that hotel too but theres a better choice up near mine

either way you'll be fine

well as i said the i ride is good. and there are lynx busses

your hotel will provide free transport to the main parks so i'd say you were pretty much covered

we had a taxi service at our hotel so we abused that!

I havent been since i was about 13 (21 now) but i NEED to go back!

I love it over there, we used to do a week at international drive (we stayed at the embassy suites) and then we would go for a week down to Fort Myers or St Petes beach etc

We went like 5 years in a row we loved it that much!

IMO 2 weeks just in orlando is too much i would say 10 days max there

Did you drive jacko? If I could afford to I'd go for 3 weeks perfectly comfortably. There's hundreds to do.

it's more humid than hot over there tbh.

i've been twice and it was always between 95-105 F on the temp around 35-40 degrees but didn't feel as hot as when i went to zante which was around 30 degrees.

amazing place. we were in a hotel the first time and our own house the 2nd time, which was so much better. it was huge and the swimming pool was great in the mornings/evenings.

you need to experience america to appreciate how they are so fat over there the buffets are the bollocks.
