Chelsea the current Champions of England and who are also playing in the Champions League. It is quite a step up I'm afraid given Liverpools current position.

Besides, he's scored 9 this season, only 2 behind Carroll...

Not sure what you mean Thomas? I was just defending Torres. Of course i'm gutted Carroll's gone, shouldn't I be?

I don't like Torres getting slated as I think he is awesome when in form/interested

No I wasn't suggesting you shouldn't be, I was wondering what stage of the break up you were at (sweat pants or lap dancing), I think you'll stay up comfortably without him

I'm at the stage where I just want him to be happy. I hope we do stay up. I think we only need another 3 or 4 wins. But I just don't want to just stay up.

Pardew has said he will be given all the cash to reinvest in the team, if that happens (can't see all of it myself) then just staying up will do you fine imo, you've got a good team spirit going on and with ben arfa to come back and a proven PL scorer and some other improvements you'll be aiming for mid table next season.

I scored 24 goals helping my side win promotion back to the Premier League aged just 22.In my first season in the top flight I had 15 goals by the end of Jan. Including a goal against the reigning champions, away at Arsenal and in a home win vs Liverpool. My form earned me an England call-up and debut in a friendly....Am a I £35m striker?
