The one thing that's stood out and time I've gone to Tenerife is the fact that the police are all built like brick shithouses

I went last year with my best mate and our partners.

Stayed in costa deje.
Just outside las americas so you miss all the hectic night life right outside your hotel, but xlose neough to get a taxi for a few euros!

Thats were we stayed, nice and cheap!!!

I spent around £1,000. But that includes quad biking up Mount teide, visiting the water parks, Siam park is a must just for the wave machine.
Went Jet skiing, para sailing the lot! Absolutely awesome time, would highly recommend it! We also saw 40degrees everday.

That's exactly where I stayed in 2009 with the missus (and her mate and boyfriend). Decent hotel that apart from the walk up that big ass hill!!

Tenerife is ok, Las America's is a bit shit tbh, Gran canaria is probably a tiny bit better for going out.

Las Americas is only good at night, and is expensive, get pissed before you go out, and dont go out alone!
In Tenerife, age does not matter for hiring cars really

You wont drink that crap out there!

The beer you want is 'Tropical'

1 euro a pint during the day.

At night time in Las Americas its 5 euros a drink, although the vodka and coke, is literally half a pint of vodka with a splash of coke

As for going out alone, in Las americas , there is a street off the main strip, go down it alone and chances are you will get stabbed.

5 euros a drink isn't that bad tbh, Burnley isn't much cheaper

Ah, thanks. I'll be sure to look out for streets branching off the main street.

Yee its not bad, except when before 8pm its like a euro!

Also get on the cocktails, sangria etc!

The first day we was out there, I had been awake for 48 hours, drove us to Bristol airport etc, got there, then had been up for over 2 days, went shopping for booze, came to night, I was fooked, wanted bed.

Well it was World Cup final last year

Went out and was smashed before second half, never been soo drunk for soo little in my life!

amazing day and what an atmosphere. The street were packed, cars couldnt move!

I also ended up skinny dipping with my mate onto the inflatables in the sea which you normally have to pay for! When your drunk, the 1/2 mile swim didnt seem so bad

well Laguna Park 2 was where we stayed, like I said it is just nice enough out of the way of the main hustle and bustle, but close enough for when you want to join in.
Dont expect luxury, but we liked it!
We paid £400 each for two weeks half board, including flights, in July!
Any time up until Nov you will see over 30 degrees.
