Well done.

The car looked visually 'pretty good' to me before (in real life)

The boy is nuts

Sure he used to use PB for his RS4 too

bit dubious about comparisons to a respray, sure it looks as good in the pics etc as a fresh respray, and some element of it will be the rotary buffing, but i cant help but think it looks great at the moment due to the layers of wax/products etc and give it 6 months and it will take on a lack lustre finish again, just minus swhirls lol

Looks good but the detail stands at 1/2 the value of the car!!

Just read on eastside the respray is cancelled. Also said the cars being built to be driven, not cleaned so dont think it will stay that fresh looking for long

I rekon you'd love a MK2 GTI Marc kind of like a scooby in a funny way! Really well laid out inside, easy to drive and so much fun. Proper back to basics motoring before cars got fat with shite steering

I loved my mk2, they are delightfully refined and yet pretty quick, considering their age. Mine was also fantastically reliable throughout the time I owned it and I grew very fond of it.

i like it, but £840

half the finish/impressive looks are from the studio lighting and camera.

had my car detailed once, and it was nice for a couple of weeks

To get it done this time of year seems madness to me. Maybe the day before a big show.

I love detailing, but I would have had it resprayed for an extra £500 or so.

Looks stunning, but I do think the lighting and camera help a lot. I, personally, couldn't warrant spending that much money on having it done either!

Looks great.

However I would have offered a sprayer a cash price of a grand to do the car rather than just clean it.

Thing is a resprayed car to some scene puppets isn't an original car.

The point here is if you paid for a respray you still have hours of refinishing to do to get anywhere near the finish it has now.

in the flip side of that, you have paid 1k for a detail which isnt perfect and has extremely low paint readings meaning it will never be perfect unless it has a spray job

I would hope Fad that any decent sprayer would finish the car well enough that it didn't need a rotary going anywhere near it.

Yes I agree to some extend Stephen. I'd like to see the condition of the car to see if its up to my standards.
