What cities that? Usually is all newer stuff in the cities, i live in a small town so Theres a few small companies
I always look at the mileage too

What i can never work out is why with black cabs there is such an age range on them, surely the all make the same money. Before now i have let some on in the queue go before me to get in the 3 year old over newer. You paying the same might well get the newest.

my dads a cab driver, got a 2.0 zetec mondeo. hes got his own plate so doesnt have to pay rent which i know is a big outgoing for some.
he works monday to friday 9-6, brings in about £400 a week after everythings paid for, then he rents out his cab for £250 a week to a night driver. not bad for an old boy in his 50's whos mortgage is paid off
