fair enough, going to try and find someone who will map if for me sat as i dont trust myself to do it without being checked over

well disapointed with 350bhp needs more boost lol

i would personally fit the uprated forged parts before remapping it to the limits on a standard engine?

i cant see the logic in upping the power and boost without fitting the uprated parts when you have them sat there?

your only dissapointed as it says 350 on paper.... you said yourself it felt fine/good.

Take it to another RR place and you could well be over 400

well since you seem to be fixated on bhp figure only swap, although it would be pretty stupid since you have all these forged parts and new bits on your own car.

He's disappointed with the figures that he got after swapping turbo.

If you have the forged bits already though, you might as well fit them all firstly.
Just a simple case of having it mapped so everything is working in harmony.

Simply bolting on a biger turbo without it workin with other bits of the engine wont guarantee him big bhp tho. I would imagine he knows this.

It just seems to me that hes chasing big bhp figs as the swap hes been offered confirms.

I guess so. If he is after big power, I'd suggest swap for the 7.

Then await the "my 500bhp 7 made 280bhp

exactly i really do believe you have enough power as it is........ i think anything from 200-280bhp is more than enough for the road unless you race on motorways in a foreign country

i have gsxr 1000 bike which would tear ur evo a new arsehole but im the first to admit it has too much power its rediculous...... even my bandit 1200 bike is slow in comparison to the gsxr and that has alot of poke 1/4 mile 11 secs at 130 odd mph and its not a sportsbike lol

my car has about 240bhp and i do believe it is more than capable in my opinion.... just be happy dont chase figures.....

ive never rolling roaded my xe corsa cos i think it goes well and i dont want to disapoint myself if it was producing a poor figure.......... fact is im happy with the way it performs so who cares what its producing i dont
