Still don't know, either way they are going to the bodyshop soon. Either fully colour coded, or black bumper tops and arches. I guess it depends on the price lol

[Copied from another site so some stuff may be out of place]

Well after much thought, many plans have now been changed. I've decided not to start changing bumpers etc, but going back to basics doing things such as lowering/alloys.

Colour coded boot lock surround finished and fitted

Standard grey interior re-fitted, until further notice
Standard interior back in! lol

Nice and grey, gave the interior a clean while I was at it.

Steelies resprayed

Still busy sorting it out.

Front arches fitted, glued and bolted in place. Also got the front mudflaps bolted in properly this time, instead of just screwed to the arches.

Re sprayed all 4 steelies in a standard silver colour for that "oem look".

Plans now are finish colour coding handles/mirrors.
Buy/fit new rear bumper and refit new rear arches.

Finally put back together
Well I've finally got the car put back together. Replaced the rear arches, undersealed behind the bumper & arches. Also undersealed around the grommits in the spare wheel well.

Got the replacement rear bumper sorted and fitted and also added some GM rear mudflaps.

I washed the car and went for a photoshoot.

UPDATE:
Central locking now fitted
Passengers door lock fixed
Door speakers re-done using insulated spades etc
Colour coded handles from a tigra fitted.

Copied from another forum:

So continued from yestersay I now have central locking!

My door wiring loom lol. Funny little thing compared to most.

GEDC1576 by DavidB765, on Flickr

All wiring taped and secured to the doors.

GEDC1579 by DavidB765, on Flickr

No wiring can be seen in doors, I spent ages threading it all through.

GEDC1580 by DavidB765, on Flickr

All wiring hidden away, nothing can be seen. Car needs a good clean now.

GEDC1582 by DavidB765, on Flickr

Managed to get the cpu box hidden in with the fuse box.

Also pictures of my tigra colour coded handles:

Currently have a pair of mirrors on order which should finish it off nicely.

Comments welcome.

Both sills now undersealed.

Also got the alloys fitted. Standard height and i'm more than happy with the height. Currently on 195/55/15's and its fine for me. Not too fussed about lowering it now.

All the wheels need balancing as its very heavy to steer, but that can be done tomorrow along with the brakes when it goes in for its MOT.

Car needs a clean. I've got colour coded mirrors on order.

Any other ideas/comments are welcome.

wheel balancing wont make the steering any lighter, Its heavier as the wheels are heavier and have more surface area touching the ground.

Yeah, perhaps not an obvious choice, but for the price, I'm happy.

Coloured coded mirrors fitted!

After being washed and polished, it rained in between alm: Had to wipe it down again. I expect the people at PVS have had a few showers too as its only down the road from me.

Anyway, pictures!
